Bilious hate mongering
The risk of provocative speeches are just as extreme as the vile dialogue.
09/12/25, 9:40 am - Daphne, AL, USA
Charlie Kirk, the megaphone-carrying, extremely combative provocateur was shot and killed while spewing his bombastic racist and homophobic mantra. The assassin spilled his bile-laden blood, and a suspect has been apprehended.
Monetizing Demagoguery
For profit, Charlie Kirk studied how to rile and to exploit the kids on campuses with his hyperbolic right-wing, talk-radio style. Copied from Rush Limbaugh, Kirk’s goal was to monetize inflammatory speech using conspiracies and extremely far right positions. Mass shootings of children is just the price we have to pay, he proffered, to keep our military assault rifles.
Charlie Kirk moments before he was shot and killed at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025.
Befittingly, Charlie Kirk reaped the full measure of the extreme anger and division that he sowed. I did not sow that anger, nor did you. I did not sow that division, nor did you. Charlie Kirk is the one that poked at that beehive, day in and day out, to monetize the celebrity that he gained from it. Charlie Kirk was a money changer. The right now seeks to make a martyr of the charlatan and to rewrite him as a saint. Good luck with that.
The provocateurs know that they can exploit the masses by making them hate the enemy that “persecutes” them. These money changers beat the drum of divisive hatred. Yes. Hate the Black. Hate the Brown. Hate the Asian. Hate the LGGBT+. Hate Cat Ladies. They are eating the dogs. They are eating the cats.
I am not saddened by this charlatan’s passing, given his blasphemic cruelty towards God’s many creations. Let me repeat: blasphemic cruelty towards God’s many creations. That is the root of racism.
None of these money changers say “Let us come together.” Not a single one says that. There is no money in that for them. The needle on the dial has to spike for them to change hatred into money. The cash register rings then, and Donald Trump knows a good one when the crowd responds affirmatively. He catalogs that one for future use. Hilter used to film himself while practicing his speeches.
I abhor the violence that ended his life, but am relieved his voice can no longer spew vile hatred and division. My flags are neither going down to half mast, nor am I celebrating his death by awarding him a medal. I find myself floundering in this uncomfortable paradox.
My Christian upbringing tells me I should mourn the tragic passing, but I feel ambivalence, not sadness. Yes, I know I am wrong in this. My moral code tells me that.
Meeting God
Seems to me that now Charlie Kirk can condemn his creator face-to-face for creating those LGBTQ+. I can envision him trying to take down Jesus first.
My white Christian Nationalist fiends forget that God created each of us in His likeness; hence, our differences in sexes and skin colors don’t give me angst. I now envision Charlie Kirk saying to God, “What in the hell were you thinking?” I am sure God will say “One should live and let live, but you blew your chance, good buddy.” Why I assume Charlie Kirk will make it to heaven, I do not know.
Far Right Extremism Is the Violence
The assassination itself: who would do such a thing? It seems I am too accepting of right-wing bombastic rhetoric to get that inflamed. I ignore all that rhetoric. Some cannot. His assassin will be one that stood against Charlie Kirk’s rants. There’s just as much chance that person leans right as the chance that person leans left. We know however that those that lean right have proven the most violent. I just note that they have caught the suspect, Tyler Robinson.
I never saw Charlie Kirk speak a word, ever. I have read his hate mongering, but I can’t imagine who would do this violence against him.
For the last decade, EVERY political violence perpetrator has been a far right winger or Trump supporter. Without exception, Trump and the right have first jumped to blaming the left 1) without any evidence, and 2) with no subsequent corroboration. NONE. ZERO. ZIPPO. NADA. They do that again and defame the left. They have been trained to hate the left. We will soon know.
Investigation Continues
The FBI reports significant footage of the shooter, both ingress and egress. They are reviewing that now to help identify the shooter. They asked the public for help. This wide exposure rapidly led to a name, Tyler Robinson.
These are the unbelievable facts. More than likely the idiom of a Trump supporter being the shooter will hold true this time too. Nevertheless, Charlie Kirk created and then gleefully and purposefully inflamed his own adversaries.
We will not know why the suspect shot Charlie Kirk for some time yet. (It generally turns out that there is some imbalance.) I do expect another coverup from this administration if their suppositions do not hold up. They need their “Reichstag fire” to try to gain authoritarian control.
There is no list of Obama or Biden supporters who have carried out murders, attempted murders, or violent attacks against Republicans or conservatives in recent years. In fact, according to statistics compiled by the Anti Defamation League’s Center on Extremism, 2024 was the third year in a row in which all of the extremist-related killings in the United States were carried out by…right-wingers. I will take you much back further.
For 10 consecutive years, the far-right has been responsible for the overwhelming majority of extremist and ideologically motivated killings in the United States. Yes, over a decade.
From Charleston to El Paso, from Pittsburgh to Buffalo, from Minnesota’s legislators to countless anonymous victims, the pattern is the same. The right radicalizes, the right arms, the right kills. And then the right lies about it. Let’s walk through the last decade with data from Medhi Hasan and Mersault.
In 2025, a right-wing extremist assassinated Minnesota Democratic State Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband in their home, and shot State Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, leaving them wounded. Prosecutors uncovered a list of dozens of other Democratic lawmakers targeted for execution, underscoring the explicitly political motive. The man who targeted and killed Democratic state lawmaker Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark in their home in Minnesota in June 2025 was a Trump supporter.
The man charged with the attempted assassination of Pennsylvania’s Democratic governor Josh Shapiro in April 2025 was a Trump supporter.
Every extremist murder in 2024 was far-right: 8 by white supremacists, 5 by anti-government extremists. Victims included police ambushed in the line of duty and civilians gunned down in hate-driven attacks.
In 2023 all were tied to right-wing extremism. Among the dead were victims of the Jacksonville Dollar General shooting, where a white supremacist murdered three Black shoppers. Other incidents targeted immigrants, LGBTQ+ people, and law enforcement.
A devastating 2022 saw far-right mass killings:
Buffalo supermarket massacre: 10 Black Americans murdered by a shooter radicalized online.
Club Q nightclub attack: 5 killed, dozens wounded in an anti-LGBTQ+ hate crime.
Additional shootings and assaults, all rooted in far-right ideology, drove the death toll to 25.
The man convicted of orchestrating a series of shootings at the homes of four Democratic elected officials in New Mexico in 2022 was a Trump supporter.
The man who tried to kidnap then Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and assaulted her husband Paul in 2022 was a Trump supporter.
Nineteen separate incidents in 2021 left 29 dead. All murders were committed by right-wing extremists. Targets included women murdered by misogynist “incel” extremists, police officers attacked in ambushes, and minorities singled out in hate crimes. The 1100 people who wanted to hang Mike Pence on Jan 6, 2021, were all Trump supporter.
The man who killed the son of Obama-appointed District Judge Esther Salas in 2020 was a Trump supporter.
The 13 men who were convicted of trying to kidnap Michigan’s Democratic governor Gretchen Whitmer in 2020 were Trump supporters.
The highest extremist death toll of the decade were 2018’s key incidents:
Pittsburgh Tree of Life synagogue: 11 Jewish worshippers murdered.
School shootings influenced by extremist ideology.
Additional attacks were on Black, Muslim, and immigrant communities. Every single extremist murder was tied to the far-right.
The man who sent pipe bombs to the homes of Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, and other top Democrats in 2018 was a Trump supporter.
2017 was a year defined by racist and anti-government violence. The most infamous attack: the Charlottesville car ramming, where Heather Heyer was murdered during an anti-racism rally. Other incidents included militia-style shootings and anti-Muslim murders. The man who killed left-wing activist Heather Heyer after driving his car into a crowd of counter-protesters in Charlottesville in 2017 was a Trump supporter.
In 2016, the deadliest single extremist attack in modern U.S. history: the Pulse nightclub massacre, where 49 people were killed in an Islamist-inspired shooting targeting LGBTQ+ people. Beyond that outlier, all other extremist murders were committed by far-right extremists, including white supremacists.
The defining tragedies in 2015:
Charleston church massacre: 9 Black parishioners murdered by a white supremacist.
San Bernardino terrorist attack: 14 killed by Islamist extremists. Even with jihadist attacks included, the ADL notes that the far-right was the most consistent source of extremist violence across the decade.
Other extremist attacks that year included the Chattanooga shootings of five U.S. servicemen, the Islamist-inspired assault at the Curtis Culwell Center in Texas, and a series of smaller but deadly incidents tied to far-right actors—together driving the year’s toll to a staggering 70 lives lost.
Condolences for Those That Suffer
I feel remorse for Charlie Kirk’s survivors. They deserved better than this. It is not right that an assassin should take any life.
Also, we should not bombard small boats in open seas to kill extrajudicially 11 people instead of just intercepting and boarding the boat like usual.
Violence as a national policy must stop and the country must be disarmed.
And at protests, yell like hell for this, as Jackson Browne sang, til you go down. Yes, take to the streets.

Thank you for pointing out just what a fascist Kirk really was.He spewed hate and only wanted to indoctrinate the collage kids to his way of thinking.....like we need more MAGA...right. To say that he would make his 9 yr old Carry a baby if she was raped, or that its ok to kill children, to keep there assault rifles, This person got what he spewed out , a death by a GUN. I do wonder if his children were killed in a school shooting, or tragically raped, if their mother would go along with the consequences and except their fate as he says? I very much doubt it.
When I heard about Charlie Kirk's shooting, I had to Google him to find out who he was and his ideologies. Unfortunately, it seems that he was indoctrinating young, impressionable college kids with racist, hateful rhetoric. I pray for his young children, his wife, and family. I also pray that his children do not follow his extremism.
