Right before Mardi Gras, the U.S. installed a kleptocrat into power. One that is a master at playing one group of citizens against another. He successfully implemented his divide-and-rule strategy. The Krewe’s Kleptocrat Master will sustain in equilibrium his strategy as long as we let him continue with “divide and conquer”. He was elected Kleptocrat Master by a plurality. Our votes against him are axiomatic, but valueless.
The Kleptocrat Master is both a narcissist and a psychopath. To a narcissist, only one person matters: one! To a psychopath, there is no empathy: none! Those are unequivocal truths.
Calculating and lying, he says he does __X__ for either you, or country. It is a sham. Some other game is in play. He knows what you want to hear, and he only acts in his own behalf or on behalf of his BillionaireBuds. Count on that!
Whenever interacting with him, you are being sized up: 1) to see if you offer any possible benefit to him, and 2) for him to see how best to manipulate you to his end. He can do nothing else emotionally. He lacks any mental ability to do anything else. If you thought otherwise, you will wise up soon.
Thief on a Mission. Only he and a small number of BillionaireBuds will benefit from the discriminatory wealth redistribution and retribution policies implemented by the Kleptocrat Master. The vast majority of us will be victims of kleptocracy and retribution. Accordingly, sharp economic and political inequality will exist between the two citizen groups. If you thought otherwise, you will wise up soon.
The Kleptocrat Master’s Failure is Inevitable. The discriminatory policies resulting from his divide-and-rule strategy will fail, if we make them fail. The kleptocracy will break down. Truth and ridicule, our writers at Substack, and newscasters will pick off, one by one, those that voted for kleptocracy. They have reformists on their side. We will exploit and target those as low hanging fruit. We can nail them first. Many of their voters also will wise up, as their egg prices go up. And their plastic straw inventory? Plastic straws, a national priority. I am speechless. What leadership stupidity. They see that, too. Undeniable.
Changing the Balance of Power. Key is growing the social contact between us, networking. That will deliver Unity, Diversity, and Numbers. We already own Worthiness (of cause) and Commitment (Til death do us part). Those are the 5 main building blocks we need for a social movement to change the balance of power and shift the pillars of the Kleptocrat Master’s support.
Fix What is Wrong (and easy) Right Now. Our unity is a joke. Our unintelligible, fragmented platform offered no hope or promise that would sell to anyone. No one used a single message from it. No discipline was evident anywhere. They ate more than our lunch.
This is where we are. Go forward from here. We failed to get our voters out. Get over it.
We have no common language. Is it universal healthcare, Medicare for all, or national healthcare? Is it MAGAts or Trumplers?
We have no common goals or messages. Is it “We Aren’t Going Back!”? Is it “Let’s Win This!”?
Let me ask why?
Note: the Republican logo had both names, with Vance well subordinated, and added a forward-looking tag line replete with a goal: Make America Great Again. The Democrat’s logo had only two names: Harris Walz. Harris is kerned too much (scrunched) and Walz (the man) is bigger compared to Vance, which says something—mitigating having a woman as the leader. That is offensive.
The Republican logo’s slogan and their red hats carried that party through 2 elections, and 10 years. One graphic designer’s bill from 10 years ago. What a deal. And the Republicans have Democrats and pundits using their MAGA initialism and slogan day in and day out. Unbelievable to me. Evidently, the Republicans gainfully employ astute marketing people. A novel idea.
Look at the clarity of the word Trump and then see the difficult read of Harris. Note the crisp alignment of Vance’s VA and Walz’s sloppy WA alignment. A fontographer was needed for one little tweak.
Anyone know who is in charge of our marketing and messaging? In the last campaign, we were not given a lot for which to look forward. I am sorry, but my career was in marketing, sales, and publications. We got nothing.
Look! People only buy HOPE and PROMISE in elections. Period. We are talking about the future, not reality—the next 4 years. There are no facts, just hope and promise. You either buy one marketing spiel, or the other. (Ours Sucked, with a capital S.)
First, where can we start with the recovery? What can we do about it? Build a common language, common purpose, common goals, and common messages. In those, we can interweave hope and promise. That is if the DNC decides to put some effort into UNITY and growing our throng instead of fund raising. NUMBERS will give us social power. By growing our numbers, we will gain diversity and infill social stratas.
It is a matter of priorities, and our priorities must change at the top. We must demand that of our DNC leadership, and we must do it with Unity! We hold the purse strings.
We need unwavering core narratives and the discipline to stay on message. Try this message on for size:
I will end citizen healthcare costs and medical debt in the world’s richest country. Period.
Second, we will strengthen our hand against the kleptocracy by innovative strategies. Boycotts. Strikes. Picket lines. Mix it up. We will have to show the Commitment like Rosa Parks and John Lewis. Expect repression. Document and film that. Get your cameras filming fast. Bull Conners types are still prevalent in Red state law enforcement. Separate the cameras so if they take one down, you have that illegal takedown filmed too. Boycott Tesla! Don’t deface them. (Cameras may be watching. I don’t need you in jail.)
Third, share this letter to make UNITY happen. We have to work on this together and in unison. We can help bring unity to our cause. Unity is a key building block of successful movements to overcome subjugation. Unity includes purpose, language, and messages. Erica discusses this at length.
Fourth, could we just get everyone to understand a common name for our foe. Our foe is not the Nazis. It is not the fascists. We don’t have those, no matter what you think. The definitions are not in sync. A name must manifest truth. In the U.S., our foe is psychopathic neo-fascists. That is the clinical name and the political ideology for this deranged group. You can verify that name in a dictionary. It withstands scrutiny. No one has ever said that psychopathic neo-fascists isn’t correct. They said call them “Trumpler whiney boys”. That gross immaturity from men is a turnoff, and…
…contrived, cute monikers abound in the tens of thousands. Each defeats UNITY of language. They are not cute to me, they are disrespectful of truth, and none are in common usage. UNITY of language trumps cute. We must settle on the name for our foe.
Fifth, understand our foe is mentally sick and cannot get better. Therefore. expect the worst tomorrow and the next day. You will not be disappointed. Be ready for that onslaught!
For that inflicted pain, fight back! Do not hesitate every time you can to use prolifically their ugly name, psychopathic neo-fascist. In every post, call them out as sick—just by using their name. Go ahead and say it: You have become a psychopathic neo-fascist! There, you told them two things: 1) they are mentally ill and 2) their political ideology is anti-American.
Rinse. Repeat. Rinse. Repeat. Drive it home!
Neither I, nor you have to answer for their mental illness and off-putting political idealology. It is their problem to address, not ours. They will want to protest about that name, but they cannot protest without consulting their dictionary. (What a surprise they have coming.)
Every single thing they do that lacks empathy is their calling card for the day! Slap that sick card on their forehead so hard that it sticks, then call them out as psychopathic neo-fascists. Watch them squirm. You simply have to say:
(Calling card of the day, i.e., You take food money from the poor.) You are a psychopathic neo-fascist.
You know their sick actions will continue. They are mentally off. So here is the script: “(insert calling card of the day.) You are a psychopathic neo-fascist.”
Repetition of the same axioms over and over is a way for us to learn, one message at a time. Repetition of the same axioms over and over. Is that redundant?
Organizing the messaging creatively is critical to: 1) out-of-the-box thinking, and 2) teaching the messages to all that must use them.
I also see ridicule as a potent weapon. Ridicule has proven to be an effective weapon against regimes. Read Jeff Tiedrich’s ridicule. I do daily. Insightful ridicule.
Uniting, Diversifying, and Growing begin with your sharing this short message. We can link arms, unify, include all, and grow numbers simply by sharing. Someday, the DNC may even join our troupe. Help grow our numbers. That increases our diversity and social stratas. That increased depth and breadth will give us the social power that we need to change the balance of power and shift the pillars of the Kleptocrat’s support.
