Next they want us mired in and attaching ourselves to their day-to-day chaos. “Musk did this, Mace did that, Gaetz swore he didn’t, even though we have the receipts.” Yuk, people. We are falling into their trap when we have another and much more important job to do. The NEXT midterms put 22 Republican senate seats, versus 11 for Democrats, up for grabs. How do you sell the voters on a non-existent platform?

For me what’s NEXT is moving us way forward to build quietly a big Trojan Horse named Potential. Trojan Horse Potential is going to be filled with strong-voiced leaders who are armed with wondrous and awe-inspiring things long wanted, but long hidden for fear of a backlash.

Potential is always planned into a Trojan Horse, so I named ours Potential.

What are the big programs needed for Potential right now? Well, those big programs we have heretofore avoided simply because of our fear of rejection, manifested by our lack of courage. Our own fears defeated us.

We don’t bring the big programs forward because we want Trump to be President? That is what we ended up with because our platform had no Potential. Fears and the mongering of fears will only be defeated by courage. Courage overcomes fear. Nothing else. It is time for us to reach our Potential and overcome our fear.

I suggest we load our Potential and our campaign with the big benefit programs we actually want. You know, the ones that we and our Nation really need! This hemming and hawing around that, then hiding that until the 12th of Never did not work out too well. That hemming and hawing led us to a second Trump presidency. Hiding what we actually want has not worked, and that is what has led us to the brink of losing our democracy. I must call out our Democratic leadership. Time to stand up and be counted as supporting our Potential.

There is nothing wrong with excellent programs with the means to fund and implement them. It is time we cut to the chase and put solid wheels under Potential, our Trojan Horse. The medical and pharma lobbies be damned. We can muster the votes and create the courage to override their fearmongering. Let the games begin.

To gather the votes is critical. We have to entice Republicans to join and to vote for their own good. How? Make it a NO BRAINER instead of hiding what we actually want and need at a national level level:

• National Medicare, Pharmacy, and Childcare

• National Education through college, and cancellation of all student debt.

• National Medical Debt Relief Program

• National Zero Tax for under $40,000 individual/$80,000 family

• National Supplemental Income for those below $30,000/$60,000 family

• Top tax rate 70%-75% (new tax at $1 million up) and the Warren Wealth Tax.

We need to pound this 6-point program into voter brains. POUND! Who will bitch about this 6-point program?

• Health insurance companies

• Pharma companies

• The wealthy.

They will use fearmongering; we will fight back by giving people courage.

Courage will be in a family of 4 being offered $500,000 of meaningful human rights’ subsidies and cost reductions. The bitching bunch will strain credulity with “You won’t get good medical care or drugs.” That will not be soundly based. I do not fear this battle. We can win it.

Pay For It. I had further discussion on our need to construct within Potential a radical 2028 Democratic Platform that offers clear, succinct, and very substantive benefits. The income tax framework to pay for all of what I suggest is in this post.

All is predicated on a gradually increasing tax rate, i.e., 50% on $80 million in annual income; 70% at $250 million income. Elon Musk’s $1 billion/year paycheck looks like $700 million to the U.S. Treasury after we close all loopholes. (With $25 million a month take home, he should be able to handle his alimony and fatten up further.) Similar examples will drown out the fear mongering.

This make sense to you? We need immigrant workers. Period. Fix it. And Jeff Bezos can pay his fair share in taxes. End the loopholes.

The CBO can work out this framework. Could be a 75% cap, and revised graduations. It is time for the wealthy either to buck up or move to some other countries.

I have had enough of the wealthy pillaging this country and labor forces. Their draconian insensitivity to those in need of support is unbelievable. They abuse our roads with truck fleets and starve our workers. Enough!

We need TO FLOOD the zone with our Potential, but undisclosed until fleshed out. We need to build our Potential. When we burst open the hidden doors of Potential, we have to be MANY and we have to be LOUD.
