I am waiting on a return call to my auto insurance entity to explain why my car insurance is up this year by 25%, when there is absolutely NO change in my policy information (no accidents, etc.). Being on SS (which went DOWN last year because of Medicare gulping a larger share than the COLR built into the SS program) made sure that I got less than in 2024 has got me concerned that the flagellation of those who have less will continue. Anyone in a similar situation?

Neither - I have minimum coverage with a CA-sponsored Fair Plan that also went up 30% over last year. Had to factor that into my budget, too. I was fortunate to get by without damage from the fire which ravaged the Santa Cruz mountains, but my normal home insurance went up 400%.

We simply MUST help all Dems get elected in the upcoming Special Elections so we can change the balance of power in the House 💙 THIS YEAR

Hey there Carl. I certainly hope your calls for a work stoppage take root. The traditional/compromised media can't ignore an event like that if it's large enough and widely dispersed across the country.
