Carl, you are right about vocally supporting judges who follow the rule of law. They need to know that we stand behind them.

I did some research. Here is where you can contact Judge Nichols. https://www.dcd.uscourts.gov/contact. Here is what I wrote that your readers can use as a script.

"Thank you for standing up for the rule of law in the matter of AMERICAN FOREIGN SERVICE

ASSOCIATION vs TRUMP by issuing a temporary restraining order blocking the U.S. Agency for International Development from placing thousands of employees on administrative leave and hurriedly evacuating workers stationed overseas."

You greatly encouraged me. In three weeks our country is such a mess. My son is pro Trump. I asked him last night if he believed in the constitution. He said yes. My obvious question is why are you following Trump.

I had mad a post on FB about the number of jobs lost in a few weeks and so many republicans got upset with me. The are willingly blind if they can’t see where this is going.

Also at this link that Mary provided, https://www.dcd.uscourts.gov/contact , you can thank U.S. District Judge John Bates for his ruling today, ordered the Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Food and Drug Administration to restore webpages and data that had been scrubbed.

I think about Ukraine, and also our American soldiers in history, and how wearing but necessary it must be and have been having to be "on" almost constantly. But here we are. Let's. Do. This.!

Great that the "MeidasMighty are prepared to be leaders here", but we need to be out in the streets now, so where are they? Talking about it is fatal.

Forever beagles! I support (among other charities) the Beagle Freedom Project in Los Angeles; wonderful folks who do good works.

EVERYTHING is being "soft-pedaled". Today feels like the end for me. I hoped, prayed, believed somewhere deep down that there would be enough repugs to turn down tulsi's appointment. There weren't. The pugs chose a Traitor to head our Department of National Intelligence, with the purpose of selling out all of our nation's secrets to foreign adversaries, outing our secret agents -- as well as those of our allies, and sharing all intelligence we receive from our (no longer) allies with their (our former) enemies. I'm done.

We will win some. We will lose some. You know that. Put them boots back on. Walking to do. In the streets.

I've believed that with all my heart (and all my time and money). GOODNESS will win in the end. But I'm not seeing that. One after another after another after another Traitor is raised to the highest positions in our land. The experts and leaders in one department after another after another are kicked out. Waiting to see what will be done to the generals. Isn't this what it must have felt like in the early days of Hitler? (Not much walking to do here -- red state. "Invisible" is invisible in S.C. Trying to do my bit with my -- unexpected substack, which I wrote just for myself to keep up, starting 1/20. I organized many a protest 50 years ago, busloads of students to go to D.C. to protest the VN war, to go to nixon's counter-inaugural, editorials for the UNC college newspaper. Now, I can't drive; have to use a walker. I can only write -- and call, and call, and call, and call, and get other people to endlessly call the senators responsible for this Hell they've created, but in the end it's always the same.)

There have been more than 50 lawsuits challenging major administration actions filed at lightning quickness. I only pray that adjudication of these lawsuits can progress as rapidly. Justice delayed is Justice denied.

Please note Mary Busch’s link to the DC Courts, where you can thank Judge Nichols for his ruling! I’m confident thanks from the citizens of our Nation will go a long way to our legal systems fortitude against MAGA backlash.

Please do this small painless action. It is beneficial.

Well, Carl, I’ve got a number of catchy ones in mind but none of them would pass the censor. Super glad that the AFGE is part of the AFL-CIO. Strength in numbers.
